Helen Ho

Helen Ho joined the GSA in 2009 as the Commissioner for Institutional Responsibility.  She received her BS in Business Management from SUNY Geneseo and prior to that was a product of NYC Public Schools.  Currently Helen is plugging away at her Masters in Urban Planning and hopes to eventually graduate one day.  She rides her bike to school about 3 times a week and came to Hunter after working for many years in the NYC Parks Dept as a community organizer and managing NYC's community gardens.  She's is also a bonefide Master Composter and Citizen Tree Pruner with worms and pole lopers to prove it.  As Commissioner for Institutional Responsibility, Helen hopes to work with other fellow students, staff, faculty, CUNY, and some great non-profit and government partners to create a more sustainable Hunter College campus for everyone.
